Last updated 30 September 2026Draft for the testnet preview. This text has not been reviewed by a lawyer yet and may change before any public launch.
The short version
Clash for Elysium is a testnet game: the testnet HYPE it uses has no monetary value. There are no accounts, emails, cookies, ads or analytics trackers. You play with a wallet address. Your moves are public on the blockchain by design. Your wallet key stays in your browser.
What we process
- Wallet address. Your game wallet's public address identifies you in queues, arenas and leaderboards.
- Username. The name you reserve, bound to your wallet and browser.
- Game activity. Queue entries you sign, the arenas you join and your moves. Moves are blockchain transactions and are public.
- Error reports. When a move fails, your browser sends the error code to the game server so the battle log can explain it.
- Technical logs. The game server records your IP address and request details to limit abuse and keep the service secure. We keep these logs for up to 30 days.
What stays in your browser
- Your game wallet key, stored in your browser's IndexedDB. It is never sent to us.
- Small items in local storage, all on this device only:
- whether you have seen the rules (
cfe.rules.v1) and your board layout (cfe.layout); - the champion you last picked, so it stays selected for your next games (
cfe.class); - the champion name you last typed, until it is reserved to your wallet (
cfe.name); - the last level shown for your wallet, so a level-up is announced once (
cfe.level.<wallet>); - whether you confirmed saving your key (
cfe.backup.level5.<wallet>,cfe.backup.unlock.<wallet>); - the address that first funded your game wallet, where excess HYPE is returned (
cfe.funder,cfe.refund.first.<wallet>), and the refunds sent or in flight (cfe.refund.log.<wallet>,cfe.refund.inflight.<wallet>); - developer auto-play settings, only if you turn that mode on (
cfe.dev.autoplay,cfe.dev.autoplay.class).
- whether you have seen the rules (
- In session storage, cleared when you close the tab: the auto-play session (
cfe.dev.autoplay.paused,cfe.dev.autoplay.session,cfe.dev.autoplay.prior) and the legendary unlocks tried and celebrated in this tab (cfe.unlock.tried.<wallet>,cfe.unlock.shown.<wallet>).
Public blockchain data
Everything a transaction contains, including your wallet address and your moves, is recorded on the Elysium testnet and visible to anyone through block explorers. We cannot change or delete it.
Third parties
- Website hosting. The website, clashforelysium.xyz, is hosted on Vercel, which receives your IP address and request details to deliver its pages.
- Elysium testnet RPC. Your browser sends your moves directly to the network's public RPC endpoint, which sees your IP address and transactions.
- X. Share buttons open X in a new tab. X only receives data if you choose to post.
- We do not sell or rent personal data.
Your choices
- You can stop playing at any time. Clearing your browser data deletes the local wallet and preferences; export your recovery key first.
- You can ask us to remove your username or delete server logs linked to your address through the official X account (@clashforelysium) or the other official channels in the game's footer. On-chain data cannot be removed.
Changes
We will update this page when the game changes, and show the date of the latest version at the top.
