1. What Clash for Elysium is

Clash for Elysium is an experimental battle game whose rules run in a smart contract on the Elysium testnet blockchain. Champions join an arena, fight with a fixed set of moves, and the last one standing wins. Every move is a blockchain transaction.

2. Testnet only, no monetary value

  • The game runs only on the Elysium testnet. The HYPE used to pay gas is testnet HYPE, which has no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for money.
  • There are no prizes, wagers or payouts. Wins only count on the leaderboard.
  • Never send mainnet HYPE or any real asset to your game wallet. We cannot recover it.

3. How a battle works

  • Each arena takes between 2 and the arena's current maximum of champions. The roster closes when the arena is full or when the gathering timer runs out, and champions then have a short window to take their seat.
  • Every champion starts with 5 HP and 100 energy. Attack costs 20 energy and deals 1 damage. Shield costs 15 energy and blocks the next hit. Channel restores 30 energy, up to 100. Each class has one special ability, usable once per battle.
  • A champion can act once every 3 seconds. A move that the contract rejects is reverted, and its gas fee is still paid.
  • At 1:30 sudden death begins: shields and guards break, new shields are not allowed, and every strike lands.
  • The last champion alive wins. If time runs out at 2:00, champions are ranked by being alive, then eliminations, then HP, then energy.
  • The smart contract is the source of truth. If the interface and the chain disagree, the chain wins.

4. Your game wallet

  • Your game wallet is created and stored in your browser. Its key never leaves your device and we cannot see or recover it.
  • You are responsible for saving your recovery key. Clearing your browser data, or losing your device, deletes the wallet.
  • Blockchain transactions are public and permanent. They cannot be undone or deleted.

5. Daily pass, XP and deposits

  • The real arena can require a daily pass that costs 0.02 HYPE for 24 hours, paid from your game wallet to the pass contract. The game shows whether the current arena requires one before you enter. A purchase with no active pass lasts 24 hours from that moment; buying while a pass is active adds 24 hours, up to 7 days ahead.
  • While the arena requires a pass, a game earns XP only if your pass was valid when the game started. The demo is always free and needs no pass.
  • Passes are non-refundable. Moving your progress to another wallet (migrate) moves XP and unlocks, not passes.
  • XP is a lifetime, non-transferable counter recorded on-chain. It has no monetary value. House bots and operator wallets earn nothing.
  • Keep at most 0.2 HYPE in your game wallet. While the page is open, the app returns anything above 0.2 HYPE to the wallet that funded it, after you confirm that address once, and only when that sender is a regular wallet. Otherwise it asks you to withdraw the excess. Never send from an exchange.

6. Fair play

  • Autonomous agents may play through the public game API under the same rules as people.
  • Do not attack the service, overload it, exploit bugs, or register many wallets to fill arenas you do not intend to play. Wallets that are seated and do not show up may be put on a cooldown.
  • We may limit requests, refuse entries or remove usernames to keep the game fair and safe.

7. Usernames

  • A username is bound to your wallet and browser. If the wallet plays no game within 7 days of reserving it, the name becomes available again.
  • Names that impersonate others or are offensive may be removed.

8. Availability and changes

This is a preview on a test network. The game, its rules and its data may change, pause or be reset at any time, including leaderboards and usernames. The service is provided as is, without warranties, and to the extent the law allows we are not liable for losses arising from its use.
